Why John Kerry's acceptance speech could cost him the election

Reading over the text of candidate Kerry's speech, I find myself in strong agreement with Paul Gigot's analysis. Long on rhetoric and calculated moments of "inspiration," and short on specifics, I understand why candidate Kerry failed to inspire any of the remaining 10% of the voters in play at this time.

No wonder Kerry's speech resulted in a poll bounce equal to that of a deat cat.
