"Thank You for Smoking" by Christopher Buckley is one of the wittiest books I've had the pleasure of reading in quite a while.
Buckley has an easy, enjoyable, and funny writing style, and he fully understands the double-talking insider lingo inherent in the world of government, PR and media. No one comes out on top in this book. Everyone gets back-stabbed by everyone else. Unfortunately, he wraps it all into a neat little altruistic package in the end, but overall it’s a great and enjoyable read.
