Hillary Clinton Gets Pass While Delay Gets Hammered

The Conservative Voice

"Don'tcha just love the MSM?"

A legal watchdog group says while Democrats are relentlessly pursuing House Majority Leader Tom DeLay on ethics charges, Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton is getting a free pass on a huge scandal. Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton is incredulous about what Senator Clinton appears to be getting away with: "You've got this two million dollars in campaign contributions she took from Judicial Watch's former client Peter Paul," he says.

"That's two million dollars which was never reported, as is proper, to the Federal Election Commission -- a crime for which she ought to be indicted and prosecuted." Meanwhile, the senator's top finance aide, David Rosen, will be in court next month regarding that scandal. "This is a person a lot closer to Mrs. Clinton who's facing indictment," Fitton points out, adding, "and, frankly, she ought to be facing indictment as well."

But the Judicial Watch spokesman notes that neither Democrats nor Republicans are saying anything about Senator Clinton. Fitton says he feels the attention being paid to Tom DeLay's ethics is appropriate. However, he says he wants similar attention given to Clinton and "the fact that one of her top people could face 20 years in jail."
