No on Proposition 72

Proposition 72 will make California the only state in the country to impose a health care tax on both employers and employees. Small businesses are the job incubators for our state. However, the increased financial burdens on California employers will end up costing small businesses millions of dollars, and will end up taking away jobs.

Moreover, since the health care tax will be paid to a government agency, health care could eventually be provided by this government-run system.

Californians should remain dedicated to improving access to health care for the uninsured, but it shouldn't be done by creating government-run health care and driving jobs out of California.

Vote "No" on Prop 72.
