Bill and Hillary's Legacy: Republican Dominance

Hillary in 2008. (Assures a Giuliani Victory)

Why is the Democratic Party enamored with Bill and Hillary Clinton? Since Bill Clinton's arrival on the national political scene with his election in 1992, and the continued stranglehold Bill and Hill have on the Democrat party today, Democrats have:
  • Lost 2 Presidential Elections (GWB in 2000, 2004)
  • Lost control of the U.S. Senate (57 Democrat Senate seats in 1993 vs. 55 Republican Senate Seats in 2004)
  • Seen their number of Congressional seats plummet from 267 down to 200
  • Seen the number of Republican governors increase (31 Democrat governors down to 22)
  • Seen more state legislatures switch to Republican majorities

A Hillary in 2008 race might be a dream come true. . . I'd love to see the Democrat slide into the sea continue.
