Peggy Noonan: I've read several of Peggy Noonan's books, and had the pleasure of meeting her several years ago when she was in Sacramento at the Metro Chamber's Perspectives event. She is a wonderful writer, able to conver her message in a way where you say, "That's it! That's what I was trying to say the other day!"
Example - in a segment in this article, she talks about how Kerry is calculating in everything he does, to the point where he comes off as unconvincing. She nails it.
"In all the pictures of him taking part in sports he always has the perfect right gear on, striking sort of the right pose. He seems to be enacting sports more than enjoying them. He always seems to be enacting rather than enjoying. "
Read this and see if you don't agree.
